The plate heat exchanger is composed of a group of corrugated metal plates with shunt holes for heat transfer between two fluids. The plate assembly is assembled between the fixed frame plate and the movable pressure plate and compressed by tightening the bolts. A gasket is installed on the plate to seal the channel between the plates and guide the fluid to the standby channel. The number of plates is determined by the flow rate, physical properties of the fluid, pressure drop and temperature program. Plate corrugations promote fluid turbulence and support the plate against differential pressure. The frame plate and pressure plate are suspended on the upper bearing rod and positioned by the lower guide rod, and both are fixed on the support column. The connector is located in the frame plate, or in the frame plate and pressure plate if one or both fluids flow in the device more than once.
